Just as Jepperd gathers his army to take down the militia camp, Gus and the hybrid kids embark on a daring escape. In the process, our doe-eyed hero crosses a line, and he'll never be the same. "Animal Armies" amps up as our cast all head toward a bloody, heart-wrenching collision.
Either way, Lemires Sweet Tooth is a good and intriguing read. Dont wait for the trades. Pick this series up monthly. Its worth the effort. This series needs to escape the type of quickly thrown together ending that leaves the series fans disappointedendings of the type were witnessing right now in several other Vertigo titles. "Sweet Tooth" may have not instantly grabbed me when it debuted, but I'm a believer now. The "Animal Armies" storyline looks to be the strongest one to date, and what I think I like best about it is that I have absolutely no idea how it will end. Lemire's not afraid to pop surprises on us, and I'm already looking forward to the next issue. "Sweet Tooth" is a strong and compelling comic that you really should be reading. Read Full Review
Once again, it's too bad that I sometimes have to experience series like this in such a piecemeal fashion. I feel like I'd get a lot more out of this particular issue if I'd entered this series from the beginning and gotten gradually acclimated to the world of Sweet Tooth. The storytelling, like I said, does an incredible job of bringing you into this story but, considering how filthy and warped it is, it's almost too much for my senses. Read Full Review
