The ancient witch known as the Thessalian has survived millennia of human atrocity via her cunning and remorselessness. But for the last 30 years, she's endured her greatest challenge yet: Los Angeles. Thessaly needs a change. A big one. And when she learns of the opportunity presented by the Corinthian's reappearance, may the old gods help anyone in her way! The horizons of the Nightmare Country open up in this standalone issue, as our tale grows ever larger and stranger...
Llovet delivers some beautifully detailed and immersive art throughout the issue. The art style beautifully captures the dark tone of the stone as well as the artificial atmosphere of its setting. Read Full Review

Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country #6 is a great issue. We get new characters, a terrific script, quirky art, and the return of an old favorite. The fact that this imprint will be growing with a second title (and hopefully more in the months and years to come) is a source of real joy. Read Full Review

My favorite issue of this series. It felt completely like classic Vertigo and the writing and art were both off the charts.
Oh please, give me MORE.
I picked this up because I heard Thessaly was in it. The story surprised me by being very good. It works as a standalone story but also expands Tynion's take on the Sandman Universe.
I was expecting an actual conclusion to the story, but they gave us this instead. Which wasn't bad, but it wasn't very interesting either. I don't need to read about another Tynion self-insert. Hopefully, Dead Boy Detectives gets things back on track?
