    Over all, I have to say that I'm very excited for the next issue to come out. The art is slightly better in my mind than it appears on the page however the story is strong and so far lives up the franchises' standard. I give this issue a 4 and a half star rating and am off to play the original game again. Read Full Review

    Generally, tie-in comics like this feel really slapped together, but that is not the case with this at all. Not only does it add something significant to the GOD OF WAR games' greater storyline, but it stands alone as a damn good comic. Seriously, you'll like this even if you've never played one of the games, either. My imagination has definitely been captured by the whole sub-plot of Kratos having to challenge the other Olympians' champions and I'm genuinely eager to see what happens next. Read Full Review

    There isn't much to recommend about God of War the comic thus far, which puts it on equal footing with 90% of the videogame adaptations on the market. Still, I won't write it off just yet. Wolfman has only begun to dive into the meat of his story. There's a chance future issues will pick up as body parts start flying and epic showdowns unfold. But maybe I'm just setting myself up for yet more disappointment. Read Full Review
