Scott Snyder opened the modern Batman books with a bang, and nothing has ever surpassed the surprise hit of this first event. This was Scott Snyder's first Batman event, and he started off sprinting. One of the best modern Batman stories out there, if not arguably the best. This story was when I really liked Batman.
