Immortal Hulk, by Al Ewing, Joe Bennett, et al. (Marvel) I picked up the first two trade paperbacks collecting the first ten (10) issues in this run after the latest Eisner nomination for "Best Continuing Series". This makes the third time the Ewing/Bennett run received such distinction (2019, 2020, and 2022). It is a rare distinction for a team to receive such consistent praise. I like Ewing's transitions and literature references. Bennett's art is good and uniquely-fitting for the character. I really wanted to get behind the "horror premise" that was the main theme for this acclaimed run, but it just failed to really execute or engross me. I don't think I'd ever plan on re-reading the first two trades, however, I'd be willing to try more
