She does look a bit manly.
• They're the reason he died. They're the reason he came back. Now THE AVENGERS have to bring him in.
• But how far will even Earth's Mightiest Heroes go to cage... the IMMORTAL HULK?
Rated T+
THE IMMORTAL HULK #7 is one of the most memorable issues of the year. It's pure fun from start to finish. Al Ewing writes one of the most exciting Hulk issues in a while. Joe Bennett draws one of the greatest looking issues of the series. Read Full Review
In the end, this was a perfectly-constructed Hulk story. Its everything a fan could ask for, including a knockdown, dragout brawl, great guest stars, spot-on writing, wonderful art, and a shocking ending that pushes the limits of what you thought the capabilities of the Hulk were. If youre a fan of the Jade Giant, and youre not reading this book, youre missing out. Read Full Review

I am in no way affiliated with Marvel Comics, there is no foul play. I just really love this book. Who doesn't like seeing a raging, calculating Hulk taking on the complete Avengers team? Read Full Review
There's clearly a larger plan at play, and each installment works towards this without just promising the good stuff is on its way. Read Full Review
Al Ewing is really testing the lengths to which he can go with this new Hulk, especially when it comes to his persona and powers. The Immortal Hulk equal parts haunting, fascinating and a wild ride. After this issue, I can't wait to see where this story goes next. Read Full Review
Some will say that World War Hulk is the best there is, but honestly right now I would argue that the Immortal Hulk gives that version a run for his money. The terror, the cunning, and the lack of restriction makes this Hulk your worst nightmare. While you ultimately knew this could only end two ways for the Avengers, the fun was in how they each found out that they got more than they bargained for. For just the action alone this was both an awesome and memorable issue. The end? That leaves some questions that should hopefully hold us till the next issue. Read Full Review
Another great tale from the not-so-gentle green giant. Read Full Review

This is the best Hulk book we have had in years and it only seems to be getting better. This creative team is taking readers on a truly incredible and immortal journey that is transforming one of Marvel's best characters in great new ways. Read Full Review
This is still a series that loves twisting the narrative and surprising readers, and it manages to do so in a very big way in its final two pages: two of the best pages in this outstanding series so far. Read Full Review
Joe Bennett's art is great in this issue and the action scenes are amazing. I enjoyed the brutality of Hulk's rage as well as the tension in the fight with Iron Man. Bennett portrays some real fear on Tony's face during that fight and it illustrates the stakes these characters face dealing with this new Hulk. Read Full Review
A perfect comic, will even stand well on its own (ie feel free to impulse buy)
Holy shit this was good. Cover is badass and so is every single page inside. What an amazing showdown. To me Ewing perfectly captures The Avengers and made them feel like they were in today's America. Art is brilliant.. Fight scene was one of the best I've read in comics. Perfect issue
The Hulk - now rightfully christened "Devil" Hulk - comes within an inch of beating the current Avengers team. The Hulk's combat moves are drenched in devious wit as well as bone-cracking brawn. It's not just a perfect rendering of the new Hulk at his nastiest; it's also a fascinating take on the current Avengers lineup. As well as being a ridiculously satisfying one-off fight, it clicks seamlessly into place as part of the title's larger story. This is, quite simply, everything I could ask for in a Marvel comic right now.
On its seventh issue this seems to be one of the best revitalizations of a super hero in recent times. Al Ewing’s storytelling is brilliant and unpredictable.
If Ewing keeps it up this could be up there with Tom King’s Vision or Jason Aaron’s work on Thor.
Probably the best book being published by Marvel right now.
Fuck, YES. This, after the rather lackluster No 6, was surprisingly intense with a hand full of "Whoa!"-moments and the craziest ending I have ever witnessed in a Hulk book. A++
This is such a good comic.
This series is a treat.
Insane ending. Whole issue is one big Hulk v Avengers
"Devil Hulk"
This was great. All I wanted in this issue was to see the Hulk tear through the Avengers like they're nothing. Al Ewing and rest delivered just that and then some more.
Immortal Hulk or "Devil Hulk" is unstoppable. No hulkbuster armors, no Norse gods or fiery demons can bring him down. One question though. Where the heck is Doc Strange?
Joe Bennet and the rest do a terrific job in portraying Hulk. In every panel he's in he looks like a big, scary monster straight from a horror. Especially in the fight with She-hulk. This is not green, dumb giant that will save you from some aliens. That guy is long gone.
But all of that paled when I saw the last page. It scared me to my very core and now more
About what would expect in the current series, where the action is almost beside the point. The point being, the Hulk not only wreaks havoc with things, he does so with people in new ways. And man, what an ending!
Great issue. The ending really leaves you wondering what’s gonna happen next.
Carol's face on the cover drops the score from 9 to 8.5
from a base of 6, this gets a rating of: 8.
+2 because: so.. he's TOO strong.. how will the world deal with this?
I'm not very pleased the way story goes and the Avengers are assholes... Why did they need to fight Hulk in a first place? He didn't do anything wrong... Friends... Heroes... Destroyed houses of so many people...
THE GOOD:
-I really liked the way this issue made the battle feel like more than just a battle. It showed the danger that normal citizens were put in at the beginning and later on showed how not even the Earth's Mightiest Heroes were all that safe.
-The evil or "devil" Hulk storyline is pretty interesting, I have to admit. It wasn't the smoothest of transitions, and it still doesn't make total sense, but it's a good new direction for the series to go towards in its second story arc.
-I really liked the way we see just how powerful the Hulk is, and just how much of a threat he can be, not just physically but mentally as well.
-Very good ending to the issue. It gets me excited for the next issue, more
Art was pretty good. The fight itself is an 8/10. Would have loved to actually see Ghost Rider battle Hulk instead of just seeing the Ghost Rider going through someone's house. At least I know how weak the Avengers are. We even see some tension between the Avengers for what they did, I wonder if we will get that in an upcoming Avengers issue. The ending didn't have me excited for next issue. I feel like Hulk/ Bruce needs a pal along his way, like a secondary character. Would have been better if the News lady joins Hulk on his adventure.
