It hurts to see what might be my favorite book drop the ball this hard. The romantic culmination between Jen and Jack is perfectly fine, but are we really doing Ganymede like this? She's just gone offscreen? We don't get to actually see Jack deal with this genuinely difficult situation? There was a lot more potential for both comedy and storytelling in her involvement, and we're going to have Jackmore
The conclusion of She-Hulk and Jack of Hearts' space epic! YOUR heart is not ready for this issue. The action will get your heart pumping just in time for us to break it.

This book has nothing going on in it, and I like it more than almost any other book I'm reading right now. I don't know what that says about me or about comics, but Rowell's run continues to be very enjoyable. It's time for the final showdown with our new villains. Can Jen and Jack make it through alive?

I think her ending with jack wasn't very important to the overall story they wanted to tell. Especially since you could tell he was never committed, it wasn't needed to show him breaking things off with her, you could tell he already wanted to since the start.
