"Mister Miracle" #9 continues to give fans what they expect and have to come to love about the series: thought-provoking, funny, and serious story-telling with some killer art. If you've been following this series, you'll be happy to know that its well on its way to what we can all hope is an amazing ending.

Whether you're looking for a spin on the classics or art that won't let you turn to the next page for fear of missing anything, "The Brave and the Bold" will fulfill all of these needs and more.

Sharp's talent for crafting words and images is nothing short of fantastic, making it a no brainer for this series to be on your weekly pull list. While this particular issue does little to develop the plot further, it adds more layers to the story that hopefully ensure a worthwhile pay-off somewhere down the road.

"Alisik" #2 continues to awe its readers with its brilliant art. The only aspect this comic needs to prove before becoming a must-read is how the story will develop, which gets stronger with each issue!

While not necessarily a book-of-the-week contender, "The Flash" #44 is an excellent read and a strong end to the current arc.

"Doctor Strange" #1 is an excellent start to a series that has a lot of potential. This first issue does a great job in highlighting both Strange's power while showing us his grit in the face of hopelessness.

"Daredevil" #603 is a solid issue by a team that meshes well together.

While this team is one of the best you'll find on shelves today, the issue is somewhat slow due to plot development. Aside from that, this issue is sure to keep you engaged through a flawless marriage of both art and writing.

As per usual, "The Flash's" latest issue delivers with a great start to the new arc. You'll be sure to welcome Christian's Duce's spectatular art, as it puts a new spin on the series before heading into the highly-anticipated Flash War.

"Alisik" #1 is a great start to what can potentially be an amazing story. In the meantime, Vogt's incredible artwork will keep you interested until the end of this first issue.

As far as Green Lantern stories go, there's nothing offensively wrong or off-putting about this issue. At the same time, it probably won't be remembered much after the week is over. The best we can hope for is that it is helping to build a larger and more interesting story in the Darkstars saga.

Although this series has a lot of potential, its being dragged down by lack of flow and direction in this issue. Hopefully the series will capitalize on its strengths in the future so it can turn into a mainstay of DC Comics.

This is a great comic for art-fanatics and most noir-lovers; while the issue promises a series that stays true to this genre, fans may even think it a bit much for a medium like comics.

While Lemire's drawing is more than enough to keep one interested throughout the issue, "Bloodshot Salvation" #7 would benefit greatly from his writing meeting this level of craft.

"Damage" #2 is a solid start, but it's just too early to tell. Hopefully Daniel and Venditti will develop it and take it to a place far enough away from its predecessors so as to make a name for itself.

"Encounter" #1 is a well-drawn kid's comic which tries to put too much content into its first issue. Though the comic book has some potential, its first stab makes for a mediocre experience.

While you won't necessarily be wasting your time reading this, there are plenty of other comics you should check out before "Green Lanterns" 44.

While you may be angry that you wasted your time reading "Damage" #6, you certainly won't be happy that you didn't pick up a different comic. Fans who are rooting for this series to pick up should expect more of the same.

This was a step down from the first three issues of the series. While "Damage" has potential to be a thrilling series, issues like this make me less hopeful about where he'll end up by the end of it.
