All stories need to build, not every story can be amazing or action packed to the brim, but when comics are bland and forgettable they offer no redeeming factor that sticks in the readers mind making them excited for the next issue to come, again I regrettably close my review with the same line I have uttered four other times, the wrong Suicide Squad got canceled.

Starting off strong, ending poor. It's sad to see a good book go, that's exactly what Suicide Squad was, a good book, sadly its cousin has not picked up the work the original book left behind. Boring and bland the book leaves little to expect and even less to look forward to, its sad to say, the wrong series was ended prematurely.

An incredible run for an incredible comic. While it's had its ups and downs, it's been an honor to review the final issues of the series, and while I didn't have many to review, I was pleased with those i did and enjoyed them. As Waller said, once in the Squad, no one leaves. I hope to see this series pop up again, and when it does it will have a great base to kick off from.

So many Batman comics come out every year, so many Batman comics blend into each other, So many Batman comics go unnoticed, Batman: Kings of Fear is not one that falls into any of those categories, it has carved its path to be a quick be decorated books with many twists and turns. The ending was, in my opinion, the exact way a Batman comic should end, with another call coming in, another problem to solve, another reason to put on the cowl and bring justice to the city he serves so well.

Their are two sides too every coin, while most coins are neutral some in the DC Universe have good and bad sides, this comic was exactly that, a good and bad comic. I do still recommenced this book for Katana's story and the hope that El Diablo flame will reignite and set a blaze a new path for him and his team.

It's been a long time since a title has garnered so much public attention from both comic fans and the public. A quick search of Batman: Damned #1 will have the book on auction sites as high as $300-$400, making it one of the most expensive modern books in history. While no one will be paying that much for #2, it surely holds its own as a strong sequel to the massively popular first half and has the reader excited for so much more to come!

A good setup to a finale. It's sad to see this one go, I truly did enjoy some of these issues and had fun reading them, so seeing it go is painful, however I hope this final arc allows some break out characters to shine though and make new names for themselves.

Competition is great, it pushes people to do better and create comics that draw readers in. Unfortunately Black Files is falling short of its intended audience, when so many great comics are doing the same thing in a better way. With the main tittle ending and this spin off not doing well its hard to see the future of Suicide Squad clearly however this book has a great heart and if you're a loyal fan it will do the trick. hopefully it wont be the last.

This issue had the Dark Knight facing his greatest fear. More so than dying, he was faced with the idea that he is Gotham's greatest villain. Showed a sprawling beautiful city, one he was not part of, Scarecrow demonstrated that Gotham without Batman is a safe secure paradise. Many have argued that the rise of Gotham's hero also created Gotham's dread in the form of his rogues, as with any great victory, challenges will rise to meet it. This idea has always been toyed with but never brought face to face with reality. Now Batman will have to over power Crane and show how essential he is to Gotham's survival and that makes for a great comic. I look forward to the last two issues of Kings of Fear; it has had its ups and its downs, but certainly it has carved its place as an outstanding Batman comic.

Theirs really not much to say about this one, its bland and disappointing. Suicide Squad has a long history of being the other comic, the one the outsiders read who don't want the mainstream heroes, for those that connect with the rag tag bunch and its sad to see the final stories in a long lineage of great stories. I hope it will return and when it does with a brand new direction that sets it apart from what we are seeing now, bland set ups to glorified one shots with climatic ends. The book has so much potential and in the future i hope its realized.

This is a great direction for the Squad, its exciting to not only have a new direction for a team that at times feels stale or locked ins stories that don't go anywhere but this new direction launches the team to places we never though possible.

Its disappointing when you know a story could be great and change the way we look at the Caped Crusader's exploits while still creating a special place for the books themselves within the plethora of books that depict the Dark Knight's life. This does a poor job of really cementing itself in the Bat-verse.

The 90's never go out of style! No one can take away how influential that era was for comics and Batman: Kings of Fear would fit right in. The era is also marked by lackluster comics that did not make a mark, and this miniseries is still deciding if it will leave a mark in a new era or fade into the background as just another one off story.

DC releases dozens of Batman titles a year, and with that its easy to get lost in the shuffle. Batman: Damned will not be one of those lost, it easily stands out as a new and dramatic tale that thrusts the Dark Knight into a world he may know, but not understand fully, and that makes for an interesting take.

These issues need to be gripping if we are in the center of the story now. What goes on needs to take center stage and really tie the reader in, this did not do a good job of that. We barely got the Squad we know and this B string team just is not doing it, its a good read to continue the story and set up for the next one which I hope does better.

Going to the back lot of any comic store is an experience onto itself. Nothing describes finding hidden gems, critiquing covers and finding art work you never thought would work, but did at the time. The only sad part of the experience is knowing that the era in which those books were written is gone. This book is the exception, great art that calls back to what a lot of the audience grew up with, stories that have that edge and go places no other comics can go. What a great start and we definitely hope for more!

The book was fine for an annual but did make me miss the main team and psyched me up for the return of the arc centered in Atlantis. While i would love to go back to Belle Reeve and learn who else resides in the walls and what other teams could be made, the teams have to be fun and enjoyable to further the story.

A great setup to what I hope will be an incredible story, issue 45 of Suicide Squad definitely is a great read and the perfect template for big story setups, Definitely check it out!

Overall, the book was a great read and a great conclusion to an arc that was extremely layered and symbolic. Batman taking over the group was a bit overshadowing, but I do hope the squad can bring in guests in the future that balance the team out and give stories new perspectives. I also hope the team goes on a few solo missions and truly showcase the skills that brought them together and hope Lawton won't be sidelined too long.

I did enjoy the read and hope the story telling continues to build and look forward to an epic conclusion however the book needs to go back to the team with the great stories that can be done with them.

The book is a great read and brings in different aspects of the DC Universe to reveal relationships we don't always feel are on the minds of our heroes, but are. This book make it clear that the decisions they make have a big tie to the underlying friendships they carry. It's a great read for any Suicide Squad or even Batman fan!
