The Gamma Gals #3 continues the high level of quality that I've come to expect from the series and it's a definite must-read issue. Keep an eye out for this one, it's definitely worth the price.

Castle in the Stars: The Space Race of 1869 is a story that appeals to all ages. To dreamers and those fascinated by imaginative pieces of work that are both grounded and fantasy at the same time, it can be truly counted as a new age fairy tale that you could read to your child with the knowledge that it is sure to spark their imagination from start to finish. This is a book that I take with me often when I travel and I personally recommend giving it a read, you won't regret it.

Hero Hotel is a great read for kids and adults alike, as it's an excellent starter for parents who are introducing their children to comics and for those who simply love comics. The main story is fun and the mini-stories bring a lot of variety, without compromising the cohesion of the main arc. Backed by cute artwork and filled with parodies of superheroes, this comic will leave a lasting impression.

Sarah Graley has created an excellent story that is truly fun to read. With assertive female leads and a gothic aesthetic, every page will have you smiling, like Becka holding a plush hot dog finding out Kim is single.

The final issue delivers everything it promises as a finale comic, tying up all the loose ends and events of Sudra, while setting up the events to come in the next chapter. It has been nothing short of fantastic. Barbucci and Canepa's love for this series shines throughout its pages.

Providing non-stop action and antics, Blood Bowl #1 is one heck of an issue that'll leave the reader as excited as a Blood Bowl fan during a touchdown.

Dark Souls: Winter's Spite #4 provides an interesting close to the four issue series although there are some minor lore issues that major Dark Souls fans may point out, the story itself is intelligently written and sticks closely to the concept of Dark Souls, this is one part of the series that won't make you suffer to enjoy it.

It's rare to see detail to the level that Sky doll: Sudra possesses, the level of experience of the creators seeps through every page and this is what makes the comics so great. It's the obvious passion and skill shown that makes this a series to be picked up immediately.

Gamma Gals is a fun slice of life action comic that features well-crafted characters and pleasing to the eye art. Its diverse set of characters is a truly welcome addition to any comic book fans shelf and Fanbase Press is quickly becoming my new favourite publisher.

Midnight Task Force #2 was an improvement from the first one, continuing to boast the unique art style and supported by excellent character development. This is one mystery that's shaping up to be a page-turner.

Kingdom: Aux Drift is well worth a look. I'm not a huge fan of action comics or movies yet Kingdom: Aux Drift kept me excited and each event and battle within its pages felt fresh. So sit back, relax and take a journey with Gene.

Midnight Task Force #1 starts the series off on a clich start, perhaps to be safe, yet it offers many details that could help the series as it progresses, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it.A gritty detective comic with an anti-hero protagonist. It's full of clichs but it looks like it could go in a unique direction given time. Supported by beautiful artwork reminiscent of the painting Nighthawks, it's worth picking the issue up for the art alone, the story is just a bonus.

2021: Lost Children #1 is an excellent slow-burn comic that does well at delivering a deep and meaningful message that will hopefully continue in the coming issues despite the generic 3D-rendered art that accompanies it.

Alters #5 is average. It doesn't do anything outstanding yet it's certainly not bad. It's that frustrating area where it's hard to recommend. It'll need to make some changes in its second arc if it wants to stand out on the comic shelf from other comics.

A crossover that's off to a very messy start and relies on readers knowing Planet of the Apes. It feels forced leading to a storyline that's attempting to tell too many stories at once, attempting to set the backstory for the following comics from multiple different sources. If I was to compliment anything it's the art, the saving grace of the comic. This jumbled, jarring story-line doesn't set the stage it wants to, boring the reader in the process. Despite how much I hope the crossover improves, I can't personally recommend it for now.

Quake Champions #1 is nothing but average. Finding itself with cardboard characters, bland fight scenes, and an interesting environment, it snuggly fits in the so average there's no point in reading it category. I recommend leaving Quake Champions #1 on the store shelf and pick up one of the many excellent Titan Comics series out there.
