As Black Bolt listens to someone who, by all accounts, is a criminal and realizes some of his own misdeeds far outweigh the ones committed by Crusher Creel, it really makes the reader question who is the hero of this story.

I normally don't use a 10/10 rating, but this issue stole the show. It is also the last issue while this comic is on hiatus, returning in the winter, due to the artist's schedule. Amazing action, beautiful art, and one painful but pleasurable cliffhanger that has me dying for more.

Titans continues to hit the high bar with each new issue release. Keep it coming!

Abnett is weaving a complex pattern of multiple plot points in this new team series and I for one cant get enough.

Suicide Squad is one of the shining gems to come out of DC Rebirth and I can't wait for more.

Saladin Ahmed does a fantastic job taking the Silent King and making him interesting and multifaceted. Despite the fact that Black Bolt is a silent type, used to the burden of not being able to speak freely, Saladin establishes his writing skill by taking him and keeping them not only engaged but wanting more.

This issue is a step in the right direction. Hopefully the issues build off one another rather than being single-shot issues of the character before they're thrown into the main Venom storyline. I get the feeling the writers didn't consult each other when creating these issues so it might make little sense how the narration flows from one comic issue to the next. Treat them like single issues.

A great addition to both the Old Man Logan miniseries and the Edge of Venomverse world building.

I really enjoyed this issue, even with the oddball Phoenix/Odin love history bomb. Jason Aaron is becoming one of my favorite writers at Marvel. I hope we continue to see his awesome writing abilities for many, many years.

Lots of action in this issue and once more, the art is a pleasure in itself.

A good tie-in to all the shading dealings over the course of Rebirth. Wherever the Squad is heading, they'll come out the other side completely changed.

Is it weird to have a crush on Volstagg now? Since picking up that hammer he's kind of become babe material.

The panels and cover art in this issue are fantastic and play well with the emotions lurking beneath the surface of each character. (That panel when Roy can't bring himself to tell Donna how he feels? Absolutely crushing!) I really hope we see more out of Rocafort going forward.

Good pacing, surprisingly interesting storyline with flawed characters with dark pasts. This reviewer's only suggestion would be if the issue events referred to past issues, some editorial footnotes would help new readers grasp the significance of what's occurring.

Suicide Squad has had a shaky run in Rebirth with questionable leadership. From Waller's obvious issues, Harcourt's deception, Rick's death and Harley's succession as team leader " what the team needs is some solid issues of the team taking up leadership or an outside source stepping in and cleaning up the mess that is upper management.

Mighty Thor continues to shine on the gem that is Jane Foster but really needs to give Odinson some time out.

Overall, the best thing to come out of this series was the consistent cover art by Francesco Mattina. His artwork was constantly flawless and well done. By choosing different creative teams to run each title, the overall series didn't seem to flow well from one issue to the next, but hopefully that will improve with the new Venomverse titles.

Vast improvements, but only time will tell if the writers stay the course.

You really should pick this series up - if not for the amazing writing and new worlds presented here, then just for the amazing art alone.

Beautifully drawn, even if Waller's choice of who should leave the Squad makes little in-character sense and more of a pull from DC's editors and publishers due to this character's current popularity.

Not as strong of an issue as the previous few but still shows growth for the team and their darker sides. Despite being staffed with villains, this aint your mommas squad anymore. No more jokes or sweet team building between the members of this new Squad.

I've really loved how depraved Aaron has been able to write Makelith and his Dark Council so I am hoping the new writer embraces his darkness and goes with it.

A slow introduction to this new mashup from Marvel. Hopefully the next issue quickens the pace.

Two more issues left in this series and only one so far as left a good impression. Hopefully Marvel pulls out all the stops in the last issues coming.

I could do less with "filler" content and more meaty substance in my Labyrinth comics.
