Godzilla: Rulers Of Earth #13 |
Jun 28, 2014 |
In closing I really think this issue is a sign of amazing things to come as it features the return of Jeff Zornow being the interior artist who happens to be my favorite artist on this series. Not that I don't like Matt Frank's work I actually loved his artwork. He just still has a lot of work to do in the human department as they look nowhere near as good as Zornow's. I also really think this could be a perfect jumping on point for people who are new to the series. This issue of Godzilla Rulers of Earth is honestly a contender for my all time favorite of the series thus far and I think fans of Godzilla or monsters in general should rush out and get a copy as soon as possible as it is freaking awesome. |

Big Trouble In Little China #1 |
Jun 4, 2014 |
In short this was a great point for this comic book to start it's story and I cannot wait to see where it takes all of the characters from the film and where they are all left once it's all finished. Definitely worth checking out especially with all the very cool variant covers they've given the first issue. I hope this comic helps introduce people to the film Big Trouble in Little China that have never seen or heard of it for whatever reason. |

But besides my main gripe being the retailer exclusive, Godzilla Rulers of Earth #12 comes highly recommended not only to fans of Godzilla. But also is recommended for any comic book fan. |

This was a phenomenal issue and I can't wait to see how this story arc ends in the next issue Godzilla Rulers of Earth. Not to mention where it takes Godzilla and all our human characters too and where they will all be when it's over. |

And while I went on a bit about my gripes with the artwork in regards to the humans this issue is a truly great issue in the series and I can't wait to see where the big reveal of this issue leads to in the coming issues now that the series has been given an extension. |

All in all this has been a great issue and I cannot freaking wait to see where this series is head with the new villains. Especially with the tease of next issue focusing on Megalon and King Caesar. Highly recommend this issue to fans of the Godzilla and giant monsters in general. |

Godzilla: Rulers Of Earth #7 |

What can I say I just freaking love this series and this continues the great work that came before it. These fights were top notch and were drawn with great detail. Plus I think they did a fantastic job with this issue and fixed my minor gripes with the previous issue since we got to see more of what the aliens and the the different groups of humans are up to. So if you are a fan of this series or not definitely go out a buy a copy of it, as well as pre-order the next issues in the series if you become a fan since that will help determine if the series continues or not after it's now 12 issue run. |

In closing I'd like to say that this issue is awesome but not without it's flaws. I honestly think that if IDW ever decides to have a Godzilla series that's ongoing for more than a year, the first place they should look is Godzilla Rulers of the Earth. |
