Gun Honey: Blood for Blood #1

Aug 18, 2022

I can not wait to see where this is heading. With the first issue done, I can't wait to get my hands on the second one. It starts off with a bang and ends on a cliffhanger. I will probably be wondering my days away until I get my hands on the second issue, and just fall back into the loop again. Order is restored to the world and Gun Honey is back with a Bang!

Something Epic (2023) #1

May 9, 2023

Something Epic is an experience that truly lives up to its name. It's been a long time since I've read a book that has left me with such a sense of wonder and hope. This comic book reminds us that it's okay to be a dreamer, to have an imagination, and to get lost in worlds that don't exist.

Something Epic (2023) #2

Jun 14, 2023

"Something Epic stands unrivaled in its brilliance, truly exemplifying the art of storytelling. It cuts deep, evoking a plethora of emotions within its pages, and may appear slow-paced. However, this is not a sprint; it's a book meant to be savored and enjoyed. Take your time with it, and relish every second. There's so much more I could say, but I fear it would detract from the brilliance of Szymon Kudranski. In conclusion, you will not find anything in this world that can truly compare to "Something Epic; quite simply put, it is peerless.

Something Epic (2023) #3

Jul 13, 2023

Both the story and the artwork continue to embody the essence of the phrase "Something Epic. Kudranski captivates and intrigues with every panel. The narrative steadily progresses, albeit with a sense of mystery. There's an irresistible quality to this story that leaves me wanting more, but alas, I must await the continuation of Danny's story.

Crossover (2020) #12

Feb 28, 2022

Yet again, we need to wait till the next issue hits shelves. And yet again, when the issue ends, you're left wanting more " so much more. From the start of the series, you could tell this was going to be special. This issue really had my mind blown, from the sheer grotesque violence to the character development and building. Crossover should become the industry standard to what every other comic is measured against. This is bloody brilliant!

Swan Songs (2023) #1

Jul 5, 2023

Starting with the end of the world as a side story to a mother-son relationship, Swan Song delivers a powerful opening. This series is not for the faint-hearted, as it unearths questions you never knew you should ask. Sorrow and melancholy permeate this issue, yet there lingers a glimmer, albeit a faint glimmer of hope and joy, awaiting those who dare to grasp it, whether it is the reader or the protagonist. If you are looking for an intelligent, thought-provoking read that resonates deeply, look no further. Swan Songs' debut issue sets the stage for a profoundly unique and emotionally charged journey.

Tenement is an otherworldly creepy and eerie experience, with relatable characters dealing with both realistic situations and an extremely paranormal one. Tenement being part of The Bone Orchard Mythos offers a slow build, setting the stage for what promises to be a tremendous and horrifying journey, drawing readers further into its enigmatic depths.

Fishflies delivers a captivating read, presenting a beautiful story with a surprising twist. While the second installment may not quite match the impact of the opener, it certainly drives the story forward. We witness the evolution of the friendship between Franny and David, receiving morsels of information but never quite enough. I believe that when chaos eventually erupts (and it undoubtedly will), we'll be in for an unforgettable experience whether surreal or deeply emotional, it's bound to be a jolt to the system.

In this first issue, the series seamlessly continues from its previous installment. Allowing readers to catch their breath and absorb the narrative. Crook understands the importance of pacing and building tension in a storyline that plays out more like a marathon than a sprint. The very realistic feeling that the relationship between Howard and Lupe has is what sets this story apart from a long list of horror comics.
