Archer & Armstrong (2012) #24

Sep 9, 2014

#24 had its fun and extremely informative moments, but I found myself a bit bored towards the end and even more turned off with the odd dialogue. I highly doubt this will be a trending thing with this title as Archer & Armstrong has been such a strong book for so long.

Rai #2

Jun 2, 2014

Rai #2 is a fun book that hits you with bits and pieces of action, the idea and concept laid out by writer Matt Kindt will sincerely intrigue you and I will be willing to bet you return for Rai #3. A lack of honest feel within the art work made me cock my head the the side at some points within the comic as if to say "hmmm really?" Overall Rai #2 is a keeper and again the folks at Valiant keep pushing out winners,

All New Executive Assistant Iris #5

Jun 24, 2014

Buccellato is clearly a talented writer who has written a marvelous ending, intrigue and sex mixed in with some violence and drama, what else can one truly ask for. At the end of issue 5 I would find it hard to believe anyone if they said they didn't walk away from this issue with a smirking grin of evil on there faces, because this is exactly what you take away from a type of issue like this. Mix in some good art and some decent coloring and you find your self satisfied.

Harbinger (2012) #23

May 27, 2014

Valiant again delivers with an extremely excellent comic book. What has seemed to become a trend lately, is. Valiant writers like Joshua Dysart continue to push the limits of our minds, giving us hope for one thing and then completely ripping that notion from our fleshy finger tips. We try to reason with one scenario to only succumb to the truth we are just not worthy! Harbinger #23, the moment it caresses your skin at your local comic shop, or maybe your so cool and went digital, you will appreciate this issue, in more ways than one.

Harbinger (2012) #25

Jul 15, 2014

If you have stuck with Valiant through the good and the bad they are paying you back ten-fold. Harbinger #25 a special issue not only for the creators and Valiant but for you the reader, did not fail us. Stunning art along with an absolutely delicious story, if you had been starving, struggling to survive, Dysarts and everyone involved served up the most desirable, delicious and succulent meal you have ever tasted.

Red Hood And The Outlaws #33

Jul 16, 2014

I don't know if Lobdell is a frequent Viagra user, maybe the guy recently discovered Five Hour Energy drinks, whatever it is the man has caught my attention and clearly the attention of A LOT more people. His style has seemed to change for his return back to RHATO, how I don't know, why I could careless, for how long...Mr. Lobdell I beg of you please keep popping those Viagra cause the story-line you are pumping out (no pun intended) is an absolute winner.

The Last Fall #1

Jul 16, 2014

I can't wait for issue two, the mix of violence and religion is intriguing and very well captured. Waltz did a "knock-out" job (no pun intended) and really delivered a fantastic first issue. IDW yet again brings on a title that can drop your jaw to the floor and you'll gladly pay the dental bill for it.

The New 52: Futures End #3

May 22, 2014

The Futures End arc has yet to disappoint, issue #3 delivers you with a wanting feeling, you will begin to feel very needy and pushy for more content and more information (oh look DC proves why the weekly issues work!) Futures End #3 was chalk full of art that we can all appreciate along with turn paging dialogue. An ending that will guarantee you will buy the next issue next week, an overall great issue. - See more at: http://herotaku.com/blog/1/entry-12356-futures-end-3-review/#sthash.g2DwEDxT.dpuf

Southern Bastards #2

May 29, 2014

Southern Bastards #2 delivers you another dose of emotion, fun, violence and a want for more. Jason Aaron and Jason Latour are truly two talented individuals who's talent blended together have created a story that you not only read and enjoy but you feel and understand. While the low was dishing out $3.50 for these issues, it is hard to argue any other price with such an incredible story line. SB #2 follows up SB #1 in incredible fashion, you will immediately begin picking up that loose change for next months issue, that is a guarantee!

X-O Manowar (2012) #25

May 18, 2014

Robert Venditti should be sitting somewhere, alone if need be patting himself on the back. It takes time, patience, originality, imagination and a splash of crazy to create and carry an incredible character like X-O Manowar for this long, especially in such an incredibly competitive industry. X-O Manowar #25 was fun, informative and prepared you for what was to come. Absolute electrifying art allowed the reader to jump into Venditti's world and be apart of his creation. New or old to the series you'll appreciate the work that was put into this issue and you'll be yearning for more.
