The creators of STAINED work quite admirably as a cohesive team. Writer David Baron has an intense narrative and delivers it exceptionally. Coupled with an appealing looking environment and what is a rather unique andiconic look for Emma London, STAINED has all the makings of another hit for 451 Media. Sadly, I know where this book will end, but it doesn't deserve to be there. This book is to good of a story for it to wind up in the dollar bin. David tells a great story here, one leaving you wanting more. Yusuf is a master with his art. 451 landed a great story here, and while you may not know who 451 is, you might know a few of their founders. Stained is close to being a perfect score for me, but that one troublesome detail keeps it from getting there. It's still a hell of an issue and surprisingly refreshing considering how overdone the sci-fi, dystopian bounty hunter genre is currently in comics. Think about that, not only is that a genre, but it's one that's been done to death in the past two years and yet here's Stained making me want to read more like it already.
