Going To The Chapel is easily one of the most clever and original new series out there. Each issue upped the ante, and it is very cool to see how it all ends. The finale is about coming to terms with your decisions and doing the right thing. It's a great conclusion to a series that has been an absolute blast since the beginning. This last issue may have had publishing problems, but like any “big day” it is definitely worth the wait. David Pepose has shown that, regardless of the success of Spencer & Locke, he can create more than a homage to Calvin & Hobbes, covering a range of human feelings and emotions without wholly giving up on the crazy. Gotta say while the introduction does this series justice to tell people what's happened so far, I feel like the reader needs to see the whole story before reading this issue. I mean this issue deals with resolutions not pulling any more punches. Because let's face it, any more than four issues than the timing would've been off.
That being said, the Bad Elvis Gang was ready to turn their back on their leader so I kind of want to know what happened to Tom after all of this. As for Emily's decision, it's definitely in character for her, the smartest thing to do as well. Not to mention this made Harriet more than just a nutty eccentric. The funny stuff is good and all but the LOL moments have to end some time. It's nice to add more depth more
