Overall, 'Scout's Honor' delivers in every way. As a trade paperback it should also be a best-seller. You could confidently recommend this to comic book readers and non-readers alike. Scouts Honor #5acts as the perfect conclusion to the series, bringing a message of hope and unity throughout all of its action and post-apocalyptic setting. You Don't Read Comics - Kellie Keener May 12, 2021

As a series, Scout's Honor was not only action-packed and intense, but it had a lot of emotional depth as well. And telling a complete story in just 5 issues is a pretty tall order. But the creative team behind Scout's Honor rose to the occasion. And Scout's Honor #5 is the perfect conclusion to the series. All of the plot points are wrapped up, but the narrative is left open enough that the reader can imagine what might happen in the world after the story ends. Scout's Honor #5 is an emotional punch in the gut that sticks with you long after you read the last page. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - James Caudill May 12, 2021

I’m so glad that I got on this series at the beginning. I got a promotional email about Scout’s Honor and I read the description. I was, like, okay cool. We have a new post apocalyptic book and I’m a sucker for those. I figured I would check it out. What floored me was just how absolutely freaking amazing this story is. If you haven’t read this story yet, don’t fret, the trade will drop in August. You won’t have to wait that long. Regardless, if you like post-apocalyptic storylines and gorgeous art...this book is for you. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge May 12, 2021

Scout's Honor wowed me right from the start and I was excited to see where it was going to go. I still contend that this is something that could easily be thirty or more issues and a sprawling ongoing with lots of things to explore. It's a solid concept that was well-handled and when done in a compact form like this hits the right key notes while making sure you're engaged with the core characters and who they are. Pepose definitely accomplished that and gave us a really fun ride which Casalanguida brought to life wonderfully with its designs and fluidity, as well as some really fun creatures and other little details. This was worth the time in singles and a super-easy recommendation for the trade. Read Full Review
