Witch. The word conjures images of hags in black robes and crooked hats, standing over cauldrons of bubbling brew. But witches are among us, and we do not realize it. They are our friends and neighbors. They are our family members. They are our idols.

And someone is murdering them.

A killer is stalking witches, hunting them down mercilessly. Agents Frontenac and Guinness are on the killer's trail. But as they delve deeper into the hidden, magical world around them, they are haunted by a terrifying question. Is the killer doing the right thing?

    Graphic Policy - pharoahmiles Nov 25, 2018

The graphic novel is a new spin on the supernatural thriller. It combines elements of Silence of the Lambs with End Of Days creatingan engaging bitches brew. The story byCullen Bunn is entertaining, superlative and fast paced. The art by the creative team gives reader a raw unvarnished canvas which feels as visceral as anything you have ever seen. Altogether, it's an excellent graphic novel which is more than a worthy entry in the canon of evil cult suspense books. Read Full Review

Big Comic Page - Adam Brown Nov 24, 2018

Bottom line, I really liked Witch Hammer. Modern supernatural or horror tales are right up my street and the pedigree of the creative team here ensures that it doesnt disappoint. I didnt feel like it was trying to push a political narrative or deeper message, just deliver a gripping read from cover to cover. I also absolutely love the format and hope AfterShock allow others to explore it moving forward. Id say add it to your pull list but as a one off, just make sure you order it. Read Full Review

Doom Rocket - Sara Mitchell Nov 29, 2018

Readers of Witch Hammer will want more Witch Hammer. The story is the tip of an iceberg filled with questions about faith, about reality, about why we search for validation or revenge in this world, and especially, what happens next " in life, in death, and in Witch Hammer. It's all up for you to decide. This story deserves more that the 60 pages it was given. I will give you my money, AfterShock, to give me more Witch Hammer. Read Full Review

Geekery Magazine - Lucas Fashina Nov 20, 2018

I never bet against Cullen Bunn, and he hasn't let me down yet. Since Aftershock was founded in 2015, they have published many ongoing and limited series, and so far, have a pretty good record of getting their title adapted into movies or TV Series. So you would be foolish to bet against this title" I am not read to speculate on this one yet. Read Full Review
