The CEO of global energy conglomerate Greenleaf Oil has just discovered a terrifying secret: the planet only has a decade or less of petroleum left before it's gone forever. If issue 1 indicates the story's quality and execution as we advance, I am all in. The nice thing about Bad Idea's shipping schedule is that they have so few books every month that I am inclined to give this issue at least two more reads before the next installment is released on June 2nd. The art, story, character building, and overall execution are on point. I have no complaints. Read Full Review
Tankers #1 is an interesting comic. It has so much going right, it's unfortunate that it doesn't stick the landing. A great concept that skewers its subjects loses its impact with an ending that's far to predictable. I great first issue for anybody that wants to see a trex fight a mech
It's a pretty bonkers series with crazy characters and a ridiculous premise. But godamn, it made me laugh! Dinos, stupid action, and funny dialogue done right.
The premise is highly clever, but if you've already heard the elevator pitch for this series, you're not going to discover much beyond that by reading the actual first issue. On the other hand, a T-Rex does get sawed in half.
