It's not quite business as usual as ‘Buffy The Last Vampire Slayer' returns and shows off what the formerly post-apocalyptic world of an older Buffy has become. A dark and fun style can be felt in the first issue that does a lot to build out this world and return it to some semblance of what came before. Read Full Review
The first issue of the series takes a little bit of a stumble, especially for newer readers who may be reading about this world for the first time. But the story and art have a lot of promise that can lead one to check out the next issue to see what happens. Read Full Review
Buffy: The Last Vampire Slayer #1 is a solid start to this sequel series. This was a very character focused beginning as we see where Buffy and new Slayer Thessaly Maclay Rosenberg are at after a time jump. That works if you have read the first series. If you haven't read the 2021 Buffy: The Last Vampire Slayer then I recommend going back to read that before starting this sequel. Read Full Review
