With this new team of Rangers, we're getting to explore new characters and new ideas and thats precisely what this issue does so well. Were in unchartered territory here, and were all the better for it as the back story for the Dark Ranger sets him up as a unique and compelling member of this team. Power Rangers is always about a team and even though we have a solo story here, in the end, we see that it's a team that will help Heckyl as he continues his journey for a better life and sometimes all it takes is just talking to someone. Read Full Review
I read this issue a few months back while heavily intoxicated and never got around to reviewing it. I remembered the basic framework for the story but I also recalled being bored AF by it.
I'm looking to get back on a regular review schedule for this series and decided to try to power through the "Beyond the Grid" story arc. There are a few decent elements in the story but the biggest hurdle for me is lack of familiarity with the Rangers featured in this run.
Reading the issue a second time it wasn't that bad. We're still in the middle of "Beyond the Grid: and still following a bunch of characters I don't know or really care about. The focus of the issue is Heckyl. He finds himself depowered and on h more
