Everything has been leading to the shocking return of a fan favorite character so big that we needed a LAST PAGE GATEFOLD to contain it! ? But what does it mean now that [SPOILER] is back?
Power Rangers is best when it leads with heart and backs it up with stylish action, and luckily "Necessary Evil" has both in spades. Read Full Review
"Necessary Evil" has been a unique story arc amongst a wonderful tapestry that has been created within this series. It's rare to see proper growth and evolution within a comic book series, but this book has beautifully matured while still maintaining that feeling of joy we all had when we were children. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #50deftly brings the "Necessary Evil" storyline to a close while setting up future stories in the Power Rangers universe. After four years, this series still manages to capture the spirit of the television show while deepening the mythology. That is a testament to the creators involved, and I hope it continues to be the standard going forward. Read Full Review

This was a millio times amazing, can't wait for what it is in store next!
Not a bad conclusion. Could've been better, but could've also been worse. What I like about these comics are that they're so much more well-written than the show ever was. That's why I have hope they'll still be good, despite the fact we're approaching the point where the series went downhill. Like I said, at least these comics tell more exciting stories than stuff like half of the Rangers getting trapped in a storybook (One of the Dumbest episodes in the entire MMPR series).
I hope we see Dayne try to get revenge for his defeat one day. He shows promise as an enemy, and I doubt we've seen all he's capable of.
As for that "Big spoiler alert" ending, was ANYONE out there really surprised who "(Spoiler)" was? That's as surprising as more
The post-Shattered Grid storyline was doing pretty good and the finale had me curious and excited but unfortunatelly not only does "Necessary evil" fails to live up to its name but all the various plotlines had a lackluster and unsatisfactory conclusion
Avoiding spoilers Im just going to simply mention my issues with the story:
1) the battle of the MMPR vs Dayne was resolved in a very dumb way and a villain that was shown to be a formidable foe was easily dispatched
2) the battle of the Omega Rangers vs the Anointed ended very quicly thanks to the help of the Solar Rangers (nice way to spoil your own story with the cover BOOM) which seems like lazy wrting to me since it would have been much better if they appeared AFT more
