    When I read this series I find it so hard to believe it has any connection to the cheesy campy '90s TV series. BOOM has taken the Rangers in a lot of bold new directions over the last 5 years, but this is probably the darkest and most original one yet. Seeing as the Omega Rangers are an original creation we have no idea what lies ahead for them. And what will happen in the inevitable confrontation with their former teammates. The Horrid were but the first of the threats that lie ahead for the Omega team. But they also had a lesson to learn from this encounter: Drakkon will stab them or whatever enemy they're up against right in the back (sometimes literally) if it will benefit him.
