On the Cathedral, Oneday reveals Bristow's plan to take control of Malik's Flight, while Oneday secures the body. If they succeed, the Coalition will become the new seat of government. As they journey towards the Inner Worlds with the threat of war on the horizon, will Jason or Oneday seize control?
I have one final note. The absolute worst thing that Boom! Studios is doing, in my opinion, is also the best. By releasing two of their best books (We Only Find Them When Theyre Dead #10 & Seven Secrets #13) the same week, they make it much easier for the readers to pick them up. Only one trip to the local comic shop is needed! If only the other companies would sync up their releases so that all the books by my favorite creators would come out the same week! Read Full Review
The end of Book Two in We Only Find Them When They're Dead provides some definitive conclusions and opens yet another thread in its larger narrative. Read Full Review
Okay, real talk? I have no fucking idea what's happening in this comic anymore. I need to go back or something. What I could understand was neat.
I keep wanting to like this book more than I actually do. I mean the concept is amazing! You're telling me there's giant gods hovering in space that are slowly harvested for their materials, which are then used by an entire society? And a religion pops up around that? And there's all sorts of political subterfuge too? Awesome!
But for some reason the story never completely clicks with me and the art always leaves me a little cold. I'm going to need to do a full reread, all at once at some point before the next arc begins, to see if that helps.
