So there you have it I guess. If that doesn't send you running for your local comic shop, I don't know what will. If you love Star Wars, and you love Darth Vader even more, then you better get going. I may have just found my "best issue of the year" for the Comic Bastards End of the Year Roundup. I know that it's early, but nobody saw Crash winning best picture back in 2006 either. I'm sorry to see what has been the best arc of the series so far come to and end. Although Nanda survives her two days with the most dangerous man in the known universe, and even gets what was promised to her, we see how the emotional scars left from the five days will last a lifetime. These two issues work well enough as a standalone storyline, but they also serve to connect various dots and propel the series along as Wood moves toward his next major conflict. And they prove that "filler" stories can be as good as, if not better than the main threads. Read Full Review

Beyond everything, Star Wars #14 marks the end of a great interlude story that ties into the larger narrative, expands on current characters, and introduces new characters as well. It can be risky to interrupt a story that is moving well to show the tale from the other side. Much of the first twelve issues of Star Wars has been from the Alliance side and it seems like the series will return there in the next issue. However, despite a few hiccups in this issue, the two-issue detour into Vaders personal Kill Bill-style vengeance trip has been worthwhile for the series. It shows again the determination and ruthlessness that Vader brings, and that the Rebels still face a very tough enemy. Read Full Review

Fantastic ending to a 2 part arc where Vader takes a black ops team around the galaxy to figure out how mon mothma's nephew was able to infiltrate their ranks. It makes me upset to think this won't be cannon in a year.
Another GREAT issue!! Fans of original Star Wars, Sci-Fi and comics in general are in for a real treat.Never too late to jump on, i highly recommend this title!
