This series has such a great vibe to it, spinning all its characters out of a 19th century aesthetic that changes their origins but leaves them still recognizable. While this issue doesn't have too much in the way of plot advancement, it does drop some huge lore about Krypton which might be a little too familiar to those who have seen the recent movie, but adds some great dynamics between Superman and Martian Manhunter. Batman: Gotham by Gaslight A League for Justice #2 pushes along at a great pace and is keeping the reader enticed with the action that appears to be happening in each issue. Also with dropping big cliffhangers like at the end of this issue will no doubt keep readers coming back each month. The creative team are doing a fantastic job at keeping the consistency going from the first issue. Hopefully the rest of the issue is just as good all round, and I look forward to finding out! Theres even a little bit of a conspiratorial hottot King in Yellow sort of a thing going on that feels interesting. Diggle is reaching in interesting directions with the story even if they dont always feel all that original. Read Full Review
