Absolute Green Lantern (2025) #2

May 8, 2025

Absolutely cannot wait for the next issue, as I said, some questions answered, though many remain, but that's what I love about it, the suspense is being built into something spectacular. Can't wait to see how this arc unfolds.

Absolute Green Lantern (2025) #4

Jul 2, 2025

Ewing has done and exceptional job of drip feeding us this story arc. By withholding certain aspects of the story to keep us guessing and speculating as well as keeping us coming back for more each month.

Absolute Green Lantern (2025) #5

Aug 8, 2025

I'm so glad that Ewing is finally getting to the meat of the arc. We now have explanations for a fair bit that we were missing and we have some excellent bits that have been set up for future issues. Lindsay's artwork is great, aside from some of the background linework that lets the quality of each panel down just a bit.

Aquaman (2025) #3

Mar 15, 2025

Aquaman #3 addresses a lot that was missing from the previous 2 issues, such as where they are and the purpose for being there which is great for the reader.

Aquaman (2025) #4

Apr 12, 2025

Aquaman #4 has reverted back to a similar format to the earlier issues, where we get lots of action, and fast pacing of the issue. We are also getting holes filled in where needed and appropriately as to not give too much away, though at the same time we can see that we are coming to the end of the arc. Arthur has only one real foe that we know of left to deal with, Dagon himself.

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight - A League for Justice (2025) #2

Aug 16, 2025

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight – A League for Justice #2 pushes along at a great pace and is keeping the reader enticed with the action that appears to be happening in each issue. Also with dropping big cliffhangers like at the end of this issue will no doubt keep readers coming back each month. The creative team are doing a fantastic job at keeping the consistency going from the first issue. Hopefully the rest of the issue is just as good all round, and I look forward to finding out!

Captain America (2025) #1

Jul 2, 2025

I cannot wait to see where this story goes and as far as Captain America Stories go, consider me converted, never before have I been so engrossed in a Cap story. Zdarsky has done an absolute impeccable job with Captain America #1.

Captain America (2025) #2

Aug 11, 2025

I loved the way that Zdarsky has managed to pull some critical thinking into the story for its readers as well as the direction in which the arc is taking. Using the likes of Doom for the villain as I said earlier does make it a perfect choice in my eyes. The art is phenomenal from the very first page. The whole creative team should be extremely proud of Captain America #2. It's wonderful.

Daredevil: Cold Day In Hell (2025) #1

Apr 3, 2025

The whole way through I found myself thinking Daredevil: Cold Day In Hell #1 is so much like The Dark Knight Returns, but I love it for that. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of this miniseries plays out.

Exquisite Corpses (2025) #1

Apr 12, 2025

Exquisite Corpses Ashcan Edition is a great way in which to set up this newly derived universe from the wonderful mind of James Tynion IV, the art from Michael Walsh, although only 9 real pages of art, was fantastic and fit well with the horror style, with lots of different uses of perspectives and close ups, it felt almost as if I was skimming over the storyboard for a new Movie, which was complimented wonderfully by the colours of Jordie Bellaire.

Fantastic Four (2025) #2

Aug 16, 2025

Fantastic Four #2 is developing really well in this Arc of the new Fantastic Four series and I'm looking forward to see where the creative team take it. In regards to the creative team, I think they've really pulled together and created a wonderful book that works well story wise, complimented beautifully with some incredible pencil work and colour choices from the artists. Please guys, keep up this amazing work!

New History of the DC Universe (2025) #1

Jun 25, 2025

I truly believe this is a work of literary genius from Waid. Reading through it I got a real sense of Tolkien's Silmarillion where that sets up the world of The Lord of The Rings, this incredible writing from Waid is his version of that, the deep dive into making everything make sense in an order that is easy to follow.
