Batman is called in to investigate the mutilation of reptiles and Killer Croc is the main suspect as far as the police are concerned. When Batman goes to see Croc, he tries to reason with the criminal to give him time to find the real killer. A task that will bring him into a dark underworld and face to face with an unusual killer. Batman: Urban Legends #19 had some strengths and some weaknesses. As series like this go, 19 isn't a bad number to finally start wavering. It definitely had elements that would bring me back for more, though. Hopefully, the next issue takes the better elements of this issue and pushes them even further. Read Full Review
The Outsiders story alone lifts the book, but none of the rest of the stories sing. That said, the Ventriloquist tale is well-illustrated and creepy as the calendar turns closer to Halloween. Read Full Review
