There's so much to look forward to and the potential is just building up with every issue. It seems everyone Kate Kane knows is working against her alter-ego, which could turn into a very bad situation if Kate's secret identity is discovered. This just might be one of the stickiest situations a superhero has ever been in. She has nothing gain, and everything to loose. There is little else to say about this book other than it continues to be a work of art. It's intricate artwork goes hand in hand with it's complex characterisation. Complex in so much as the creative team have really breathed life into the main cast, making them believable heroes who populate the dark streets of Gotham. If for any reason you haven't given this title a chance yet, you should get to your local comic book shop and pick up all four issues. As in previous issues, the attention to every detail in this issue shows a mastery of the comic book medium. Little details like Kate being drawn in the same style as Maggie and Agent Chase's indifferent attitude speak volumes, and it's this deeper story that holds the more compelling aspect of the tale. Even though the plot in Batwoman #4 doesn't kick into an exceedingly high gear, strides have been made in this book to set up the inevitable showdown between Batwoman, the Weeping Woman, and Agent Chase.
