Things are getting stranger in El Paso, where deep beneath the earth, something-or someone-has been sending out waves of mystical energy that are creating beings with super powers-and they all seem to be after Blue Beetle! Now one such being has been summoned to prepare the way for this entity's rising. All of this puts Jaime way out of his territory, so it's time for Doctor Fate to toss his helmet into the ring!

Enough is enough, just go ahead and pick up this title. You really wont be disappointed. Youll be reminded why we all were drawn to comics in the first place. They have a delivery that no other medium can provide. A synchronicity of story, art, and color that give you a particular type of experience. Pure. Good. Comics. Read Full Review
There's going to be several assessments of the situation that just occurred come next issue. Jaime, his family, friends, and Ted Kord's squad are going to have a lot to talk about, as well as coming up with a plan moving forward. Here's hoping we get a more cohesive unit moving forward, but that'll only come if Jaime chooses to embrace the Scarab instead of trying to get rid of it. Read Full Review

This issue of Blue Beetle certainly isn't the greatest thing that I've ever seen, but the events of this story actually get me interested in where everything is going with this series because to my surprise..... I didn't hate it. The art was decent and the dialog wasn't as bad as it's been....... Plus, we have ourselves a pretty intriguing cliffhanger going on here. Read Full Review
