I really don't know what changed in Ray Fawkes' writing when it came time to take Constantine to Earth 2 but whatever it is I hope it continues for a long long time. So dark and so Damned good. Nothing good happens here for the characters but the drama all that evil shit stirs up is hugely entertaining. Makes me wish Fawkes was going to stay on the book post mini-boot.
