STARRING HEROES FROM CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS! Barry Allen lashes out against the heroes of the Tangent Universe as he tries to protect Gotham City from Convergence! This extra-sized issue includes a sneak peek at whats coming up in the DC Universe!
Convergence: The Flash #2 is a diamond in the rough. The event and its tie-in have certainly yielded some questionable choices. However, the work by Abnett and Dallocchio have yielded a two-issue story that should not be missed. Read Full Review
Like the best of these Convergence books, Convergence: The Flash is a love-letter to the DC Universe and a nod to the important role that The Flash has played in almost every Crisis across the Multiverse. It's not over yet, and perhaps the current Scarlet Speedster has a critical role to play in this Convergence. Read Full Review
Overall, the two issues are a solid one with a clear vision, voice, and purpose in each issue. This isn't just some boring battle like some of the tie-ins are. Abnett is a fantastic writer, and these two issues show off how solid he is. Read Full Review
Convergence: The Flash #2 takes a break from the action for some entertaining philosophical discussions instead. Read Full Review
Dan Abnett mixes up the usual Convergence formula to give us an exposition heavy issue that ends in a smart and emotional way. It's a matter of the needs of the many outweighing the few and while that can fall into cliche, Abnett thankfully avoids that. Like most other tie-ins, I can't recommend this to everyone, but if you read the first or are a Barry Allen fan, check it out. Read Full Review
I expected this issue to be a lot better than it was. Half of the book has way too much dialogue so much so that when the action finally does happen and it reveals something incredible about The Flash's roleit alienates the character. But overall this book wasn't like its #1plusit doesn't topSpeed Force or other Convergence "Two Shots". But if you're a fan it's worth a read just for the final few pages. Read Full Review
Convergence: The Flash #2 is a decent but middle of the road issue. There are some great character interactions and art, but suffers from “filler fighting”. Read Full Review
This is up there with Convergence: Superman as on of the best tie-ins. It's filled with heavy interesting dialogue and probably one of the best fights in all of the tie-ins. The art is also flawless giving detailed view of the surrounding and multiple creative angles on every scene.
