S.T.A.R. Labs is invaded by brother and sister super-villains seeking revenge for the suicide of their father. Cyborg is the only one who can stop them, but he's in the middle of a firmware upgrade from the events of last issue.
Bottom Line: We have a solid read that continues the work of establishing Cyborg as a hero that sheriffs the evolving perversions of science and technology. Hopefully, we get to see this book continue to evolve and branch out into other aspects of the character. Read Full Review
If this is the last issue as I'd assume, Cyborg #12 wraps up the series quite nicely. Would it have been nice to have the original creative team stick around to the end? Sure, but the good thing is that we at least made it to the end never losing what made Cyborg stand out from some of the other titles. It's human, engaging, makes you think about the way we look at others and how we want to be viewed ourselves. You couldn't have asked for a better story that represented the importance of the person behind the mask. Read Full Review

CYBORG #12 is a pleasant issue to read, with a short and sweet storyline. It offers two complex villains who have a touching backstory, with some story elements that could potentially evolve into more storylines. But if the story it doesn't continue with DC Rebirth underway, we will just have to get our fill of Cyborg in the Justice League books. Read Full Review

Cyborg may or may not end with this issue....... it's never really spelled out here, but with this issue we get our hero taking on a brother and sister duo and while I enjoyed the fight scenes, the rest was really forced in and didn't make our hero look like he's that smart of a guy. The art like always though was fantastic so at least we have that going on for us, I just found the majority of this issue very lackluster. Read Full Review
