    I like where this story is headed. I am not a huge believer in "deaths" in comic book universes but it seems to me that Andreyko is really planning on killing Hawkman. If he were not, we would not need Adam Strange to tell the story. Even if he chooses not to kill him off, this has been a fun intergalactic ride so far. Read Full Review

    This issue leaves the table set for the return to the first issue of the book with the Thanagarian invasion of Rann. (See what I mean about all the flash-back-forward stuff?) That leaves out heroes with the full plate of defeating the more powerful than ever Despero, stopping the planetary invasion, rebuilding Thanagar and fixing Adam's marriage.     While this series maintains its slow pace, it's finally paying off with this issue and showing us the real threat facing our heroes.  Yeah, it's big and over the top in a fun way, but because we have to sacrifice pages to rehash what we already knew, the pacing of this book feels a bit off.  Luckily though the art remains strong and I look forward to where this story is taking us.
