Writer Justin Jordan takes over the title with an incredibly fun yet short story. Deathstroke appears to be back in full force and I'm optimistic about what Jordan has in store for DC's deadliest mercenary. This issue is action packed and only takes a minor break a few pages in. If you're a Deathstroke fan, odds are you'll love it.Oh yeah, the teaser for the next issue is "How to fight 10,000 ninjas." Um, yes, please! Read Full Review

So, if you're looking for a fun title that is entertaining and enjoyable, simply for the act of reading it, give Deathstroke a shot. It's not a story that will leave you pondering the mysterious of the universe; and that's just fine. I could use a break from that. Deathstroke is a title that delivers great action and leaves you excitedly waiting to see how Slade Wilson will solve the next problem that pokes its finger in his chest. 8/10. Read Full Review

As abrupt as the transition into the next conflict is on the final page, this issue makes it clear that Jordan will continue to provide Deathstroke with challenges and foes worthy of his reputation. Read Full Review

Although this issue is a clear step in the right direction for this title, there lacks sufficient characterization for Koschei and Elena. Jordan doesn't explain their origins, leading little room to understand their motives. However, after a brief hiatus from this book, it's safe to say I'm back on the Deathstroke train, and you should be, too! Read Full Review

"Deathstroke" #15-16 have me interested in the title again, something that hadn't happened since Kyle Higgins' initial storyline ended. If this is the manner in which Jordan continues to approach the title, we could be well on our way towards providing enough of a hook to keep this series viable. For now, I'll continue to pick up the title. It's a promising outlook for DC's #1 assassin. Read Full Review
