This issue doesn't push the story forward on bit...and it was awesome. Tom Taylor takes us back to when it all started and gives us an alternate view of what could have been. Dream sequence storylines are dicey things since it can provide you with things you want that don't impact that main storyline. Here, with this storyline already being separate and diverging hugely in many ways from the mainline stories, well, it just feels like a lot on top of a lot. It's not bad " in fact, it's pretty damn fun " but it leaves me wary of how much time will be devoted to it rather than events in the main story where things should be getting done now that Superman is (temporarily?) down for thecount. With Superman's time with Lois here being a standout moment as well as the road trip with Batman and the Joker, there's a whole lot to like. Read Full Review
