The heroes continue their proactive hunt for justice as the trail leads to an army of super villains--leading a union under a common goal. But the big bad may be deadlier than all of the members of this new team combined!
I'm a really big fan of slowly building up a story, and James is doing a great job of that here. Oh, and Mauro's artwork is still mind-blowingly fantastic. Read Full Review
With two issues out, Robinsons story seems to be picking up (slowly), however I assume next issue will see the birth of the new Justice League and from there more plot development. All the characters seem very interesting and some of them have not been given attention in years. If youve ever been frustrated and wondered, why cant the heroes just go out and kick butt? than this story was made for you. If you havent then maybe you simply want something new to happen to the Justice League franchise. Great art and an interesting story filled with endless potential is enough for you to pick this up. I dont think anyone will be disappointed. Read Full Review
Perhaps the biggest problem is the line-up, which seems to have been assembled entirely at random. There's still time for this series to impress, but it's sure taking the long way around. Read Full Review

Overall, I guess this mini-event needs to be seen for what it is. A mini event for the Justice League or more like, a way to inject some life and provide a much needed shakeup of a title that has been very lackluster for some time now. To wrap things up, I'll leave you with one last damning statement about Cry for Justice #2 – I enjoyed Robinson's prose piece about Ray Palmer and Len Wein and Mark Bagley's two page origin far more than I did the actual comic. Take from that what you will, but I should point out that I mean it more as a jab against the main feature than praise for the added content of this $3.99 book. Save your money. Read Full Review
