Lobo is finally face-to-face with Sinestro! But did our favorite bounty hunter bite off more than he could chew when he agreed to kill the leader of the Yellow Lanterns?
This issue begins the Sinestro Rising story arc and I couldn't have asked for a much better issue. It's got action, dark humor and even a game changing event thrown in as well. It's obvious how much I liked this issue and I hope that those looking to get more of the old Lobo feel out of this book at least give this issue a try. Read Full Review
Lobo #10 is doing something new and worthy of attention when these are Lanterns being slaughtered. Familiar or not no one is safe when Sinestro makes his big play for power. Now we just have to sit back and watch when the others don't go down without a fight. Read Full Review
Lobo doesn't miss a beat with its pacing. The action scenes are beautifully done and the fights make you feel that none of the lanterns are safe. The evil mind of Sinestro having the might of Lobo working for him makes for a very dangerous combination for everyone else. Read Full Review

Lobo #10 is a read that simply does not deliver the type of satisfying read that justifies the price of admission. Fair or not, given the ever-increasing price of comics, it is expected for readers to begin increasing their standards as to what is an acceptable amount of content for their dollar. While back in the day, an issue like Lobo #10 would have been acceptable when the cover price for a comic was just .75. But, not these days. If I plunk down $3.00 then I expect a comic book that offers a reading experience that lasts more than five minutes and has enough depth and substance for me to feel satisfied when I reach the end of the issue. There is just no way I can recommend Lobo #10 to anyone outside of die-hard Lobo fans or die-hard fighting fans. Read Full Review
