It's Amazons versus Valkyries! Hessia and her warriors are closing in on the Storm Giants who are holding their comrades prisoner when a group of fierce Nordic female warriors misinterpret their intent and launch an all-out assault. Will even the Amazons' new Viking allies be able to help them against these god-like beings?

Black Nerd Problems - Omar Holmon Mar 15, 2017

This issue took an extreme turn in the plot that I don't think any of us saw coming. I was waiting for the story to come along with a little more action but Bast damn, Grevioux done went and hit us with a south paw left outta nowhere. Odyssey of The Amazons is shaping up to be a limited series you'll want in your collection to come back to years from now. Read Full Review

Comic Book Bin - Paul Mason Mar 18, 2017

The art was again strong in this issue. However I fear the story is already becoming a little muddled, maybe the editors were afraid of it becoming formulaic so they instructed Grevioux to write as many twists and turns as possible. I do not know, however I found parts hard to follow and some of the writing repetitive three issues into the comic. I trust the big picture will have a payoff that makes it all worthwhile though so I grade this one 7/10. Read Full Review

Fortress of Solitude - Rick Austin Mar 27, 2017

A story about the Amazons is something which DC really needed to do after all these years. So why can't they tell a good one? The Amazons have a rich history and deserve a time to shine, but this isn't it. There's no reason to care about them here, and certainly no reason to follow them on this adventure. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Mar 15, 2017

I haven't liked this series and this issue didn't change my mind one bit.  Fans of grim and gritty fantasy may find something to like here, but I can't get invested in such a forced story that lacks almost any semblance of characterization. Read Full Review

I'm really considering dropping this title. It showed promise in the first issue and then became nonsensical. Between all the fighting, you really don't know what is going on, only that there are trolls trying to mate with human women. Or was it frost giants? Either way, this story is a mess.

A decade ago a comic about Amazons would have sold. Nowadays with the rampant feminist and liberal agenda in control, such a comic is designed to fit the agenda and not to appeal to readers. The result is this utter mess.
