Ivy's politics are acomplex issue among comic fans. Yes, her overall goals are good, but sometimes her techniques take her into villain territory. So this issue asks the question of what happens when someone takes up her banner without her moral scruples? Read Full Review
Given the large scale the last arc took, this feels much more pared down but no less as important and it's overall just very well done. Read Full Review
Here we are again. Starting a new arc and loving it. There is so much more to explore with these characters and their interpersonal relationships. I can not wait to see more of them all and their growth soon! Read Full Review
Poison Ivy #26 presents a solid start for this new arc with a few interesting avenues for G. Willow Wilson and Marcio Takara to explore. Here's hoping that it ends stronger than the last arc. Read Full Review
What can I say? I live in a region where the leaves are rapidly turning amber and scarlet, and reading this comic alongside a cup of tea puts me in a cozy mood. I'm looking forward to this new arc and don't have many complaints about where we're going. Read Full Review
I haven't read a Poison ivy for nearly a year now and it felt wonderfully to step back in to such a great comic. The interaction with Janet and Ivy was outstanding and the art is a masterclass in colours that make you enjoy each page. Now to cat up on a years Ivy........I think that in itself should upgrade my 9.5 to a 10.........JM
This series seems a bit directionless at times but man I love the character interactions. G. Willow Wilson can write.
On the weeks this book comes out, this is the first book I choose to read without fail. This issue is not changing that pattern now. This lines up a lot of story threads to come that have me so excited! The villain organization is fun. The mystery of the town. Also is anyone else shipping croc and Jan from HR.
DC is quickly losing me again … I want to like these new All-In stories in this soft reboot … but … after reading Poison Ivy 26 … I’m ready to bail. The art and story felt like some weird webtoon fan-fiction and not a professional main-stream comic that ties into the larger DC Universe. The story just meanders around almost directionless. Ivy goes for a bike ride from Gotham into the wetlands and ultimately the abandoned town of “Marshview” … all this is just a bike ride away?
I’m going into All-In with a super positive attitude … however Birds of Prey 14 and now this … I don’t think I can take much more. This book was a total flop for me.
