A bittersweet ending to a bizarre series that was a lot more personal than the DC Universe satire of the last miniseries. Expertly-executed in storytelling and art, the hyper-MAD magazine sensibilities of Hard-Travelin' Heroz may not be for everyone, but those people lack sense of humor so we don't care about their opinions. Everything about this book that was supposed to be funny came across as mean. Satire works when it is honest. Sure, feelings may get hurt with some stinging satire, but being mean, for the sake of being mean, does not work for me. I may be in the minority, but this whole thing was a waste of time.
