Overall, it's an alright story, visually it is stunning, and the script is good. The big points are good, and I am sure that this series will gain more traction as it continues forward as well as hopefully lose its main character explains everything twice syndrome. Read Full Review

The art is good and dynamic with the magic flying all over the place, but the writing is really not good. I hope for improvement next issue, but it may be the curse of the end of the story and suddenly realizing that things need to get wrapped up quickly. Read Full Review

Art is great. Like I really enjoy the art. I just wish there was a clear coherent plot. While there is a 'plot' like I said last issue it is really just made up as they go. Stuff is solved cause we are told it is solved as Xanthe just says 'ah yes this will work' or they guesses and they is always right. This series feels like a disrespect to the character Xanthe. I was excited for them but now it feels like they are just a character with a big sword. Watered down through poor writing. A shame.
