It would be the deepest blow to you if after a year of unbelievable success, Snyder's most ambitious storyline failed. Let's be grateful he's managed to push himself out of the mire into much more desirable territory, with help from some amazing art. Read Full Review

With the foundation already there, Swamp Thing #14 instills an epic sweep to the Rotworld story, giving it blockbuster potential. If I have a gripe, it's that the story is over too soon. The engines of adventure roar to life here, but the final panels appear just as I was ready to plunge into the breach alongside Alec and Boston. This is, of course, a note of praise masquerading as criticism, and that last panel of this book has me more excited than ever for issue #15. But with Snyder and Paquette at the helm, you know it's going to be well worth the ride. Read Full Review

A large portion of that is due to the fact that Snyder threads through characters and concepts from his entire run and beyond. The final page of this issue is proof of that. "Rotworld" is familiar and creepy, unexpected and exciting. Read Full Review
Leaving Ivy with the Parliament, Alec and Boston take off via a beautifully handcrafted leaf boat towards Gotham City in pursuit of a weapon to defeat the Rot. Boston knows a guy. Alec says something about a quiet cruise about one panel before a full on attack from Rot team. Things are heating up in this swampy adventure and I will keep riding along with it. I’d say this is a heavy-handed must read. Seriously, go get it. Read Full Review
