Things are not looking good for Swamp Thing. Actually, things aren't looking too good for the entire DC Universe. In the midst of the Roworld story arc, it looks as if everything is pretty much lost. Swamp Thing now has to make his way to Gotham but that won't be an easy trek. Flashbacks to seeing what Abby's fate may be is interesting but you have to wonder how that will come together with Swamp Thing's portion. The art and little glimpses of other parts of the DCU are great but those affected by the Rot just don't work for me. It's a problem I've had from the first time we saw them in the series. Don't try to guess how the issue will end because Scott Snyder doesn't do what you might think. Next issue is bound to get even crazier. Read Full Review

Although slightly poorer than the last issue this was still a very good issue and the story has been brilliant. I would recommend this to anyone who's a fan of Swamp Thing or the series so far. I would also recommend this issue to newer readers but not on it's own. You'd need to buy issues 13 and 14 to appreciate the story. Read Full Review

This issue is one that harkens back to Swamp Thing's roots as a horror comic and that is a very good thing. Next month promises a trip to Arkham and I can't wait to see a splash page of Rotworld Gotham as well as "rotten" Batman villians. It will be the conclusion of the Green Kingdom and Yanick will be back, so I can't wait to see what happens. Read Full Review

Swamp Thing #15 represents a necessary next step for the greater Rotworld storyline; however, readers should come in expecting more emotional drama than large set pieces. I wonder how great this issue could have been if the Abby Arcane sequence was shortened to two or three pages. This issue disappointed me as my standards for Swamp Thing have been raised to a high level, but the disjointed plot spoiled the story for me, and the power of a few scenes was greatly reduced as well. Marco Rudy did a solid job filling in, but I can't wait for Paquette to return to Swamp Thing and I sincerely hope that Part Four sees a return to the fantastic storytelling that Scott Snyder is capable of. Rotworld is now past its halfway point, and Swamp Thing continues to be an enjoyable series as part of its overall story, despite a few mishaps along the way, both by the writer and artist. This is possibly one of the weaker issues of the run, but I have faith that both Snyder and whoever is finishing off the art duties will pull it back for their final three issues. Read Full Review
