The final showdown against Ra's Al Ghul kind of shows the limits of this bookit is ultimately a kids' book, and any major Batman villain will have to be scaled down to a certain level to allow the kids of Mystery Inc. to win the day and come out alive. Although there are some continuity errors in The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #1, it still gives readers a fun and compelling story featuring a spotlight on more obscure characters like the Batmen of all nations. Bat fans will even notice a reference to the more modern Batman Incorporated at the end. Batman and Scooby-Doo are two iconic characters that have teamed up several times. There never seems to be a shortage of crossover stories that can be written about them. What stories are you hoping to see in this series? Read Full Review
While I have some problems with this comic's core identity, It doesn't change the fact that it's always a good time when two of my favorite franchises cross over. I can recommend it to most anyone but it remains to be seen whether it has enough depth to be particularly memorable for most. Read Full Review
