Much to her shock, Wonder Girl finds herself back in the past with Robin, this time hoping to track down a Super-corgi. But things have changed—Jason and Lizzie are totally crushing on one another. Can the boy and girl wonders ignore the butterflies long enough to track down a mischievous dog on the dangerous streets of Gotham?
This issue does an amazing job of capturing that unmistakable feel of doomed first love, and the framing segment involving the three Lizzies telling each other about their adventures takes a surprisingly emotional turn. If I could rate this a negative score I would. The mad hatter crapping himself , the awful dialogue throughout the book. It’s Tom King at his worst. A nothing book that doesn’t move the story forward except into the toilet.
