Tom King is known for some of the grittiest, most cerebral comics at DC, frequently taking on weighty topics like suicide and PTSD. Which is why it was all the more surprising that his Trinity backups were the silliest, most ridiculous thing he's ever done, involving plot threads like Jon and Damian being turned into Corgis. When it came time for Lizzie to get a solo series, the corgis returned as three different versions of Trinity took over the timestream only for King to then start ripping out our hearts once again.
