Honestly my biggest gripe with this issue is that it is over. The mini-series is done, and I am sad at the lack of Doom Patrol I will be getting every week. The worst part is the series was finally getting on really great footing. It had it less than perfect issues but this last section of the arc was excellent.
This Dawn of DC Doom Patrol seems to have found its place. The final battle was great, had its Doom Patrol classic zaniness and the big fight allowed for a lot of small spotlights on the allys and villians of the Doom Patrol across time. Culver actually understands the history of the doom patrol and the people in it. He might not be a Grant Morrison, but he does respect the Doom Patrol and what came before him so I give more
