Huntress and Power Girl begin trying to track the βinvaderβ who came through the Boom Tube from Earth 2 with them. More is revealed about the first five years our heroines spent stranded on our Earth.
So overall, as I said above, a fun issue. I found the flashbacks to be the best section of the book, answering a couple of questions I had (why not seek out the E1 Batman/Superman), adding some great interaction between these characters, and definitely showcasing Karen and her feisty attitude. Very nice. But I will need some great hook to make this Hakkou portion be something more than pedestrian. Read Full Review
Unfortunately, we're three issues in and I'm not certain we've really put any road behind us. Huntress and Power Girl try to return home, but they've crossed paths with Hakkou and now can consider themselves his enemies and maybe even targets. Like the early issues of "Crisis on Infinite Earths," we get a tease of a story, but nothing complete enough to really measure out an accurate judgment. Its fun but to a point and the jarring shift in tone from past to present stops it from being a must buy title. Read Full Review
Except for still sticking Power Girl in that truly awful costume (seriously, something needs to be done) the series seems to be back on track after only a slight mistep last month. Worth a look. Read Full Review
I think I have just enough patience to stand one more month of this, but unless the creators can change up their decades-old storytelling tactics, I don't think I want to stick around. Read Full Review
