So overall, as I said above, a fun issue. I found the flashbacks to be the best section of the book, answering a couple of questions I had (why not seek out the E1 Batman/Superman), adding some great interaction between these characters, and definitely showcasing Karen and her feisty attitude. Very nice. But I will need some great hook to make this Hakkou portion be something more than pedestrian. Read Full Review

Unfortunately, we're three issues in and I'm not certain we've really put any road behind us. Huntress and Power Girl try to return home, but they've crossed paths with Hakkou and now can consider themselves his enemies and maybe even targets. Like the early issues of "Crisis on Infinite Earths," we get a tease of a story, but nothing complete enough to really measure out an accurate judgment. I'm eager for more of this book, and "Worlds' Finest" #3 is a wonderful example of what to expect from the title, it just needs a clear direction. As that materialized with "Crisis," I'm certain it will here. I just hope it does so soon. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - David Pepose Jul 9, 2012

Seemingly accidental decompression aside, Huntress and Power Girl have a dynamic to them that I haven't seen in any other DC Comic, and that partnership thankfully remains intact. Nobody's perfect, not even the Worlds' Finest, but who they are is even more important than what they do. Friendship is the heart of Worlds' Finest, and that trumps much of the plot missteps " at least for now. Read Full Review

A Comic Book Blog - Daniel Cole Jul 7, 2012

So, the book soars when it is dealing with character and Maguire enhances these moments with some wonderful pencils. But the present day storyline continues to hinder the book and it doesn't help that Prez isn't producing anything of note. Its fun but to a point and the jarring shift in tone from past to present stops it from being a must buy title. Read Full Review

    Razorfine - Alan Rapp Jul 9, 2012

Except for still sticking Power Girl in that truly awful costume (seriously, something needs to be done) the series seems to be back on track after only a slight mistep last month. Worth a look. Read Full Review

Weekly Comic Book Review - Minhquan Nguyen Jul 11, 2012

I think I have just enough patience to stand one more month of this, but unless the creators can change up their decades-old storytelling tactics, I don't think I want to stick around. Read Full Review
