Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj Aug 4, 2012

Outside of that, there is too much other stuff to think about. What will this Kara's response be when she finally meets Superman? (I have to assume much different than the current Supergirl's.) What will Huntress do when she meets Batman and/or Catwoman? When will Bruce discover the skimming of millions off the top? What will happen when Power Girl learns about Supergirl? And then meets Supergirl (please don't have them fight!)? As I said, this book is perfect summer reading for me ... breezy and entertaining. Can't wait for next issue! Read Full Review

    Newsarama - David Pepose Aug 1, 2012

The thing that this issue is missing, however, is a larger message, a reason for being. This has affected the pacing some, as the last few issues have all ended very abruptly, leading readers to wonder if they perhaps missed something on their way out. This is a solid introduction to this dynamic duo, but I know that Levitz could have knocked this out of the park even more with a theme behind the Worlds' Finest. Oh well " I guess killer artwork and endearing characterization will have to do instead. Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Sara 'Babs' Lima Aug 1, 2012

I think that if a little bit more thought were put into this issue, it would be fantastic. There's so much potential here: a book featuring two really kick butt female heroes with interesting dialogue and banter? Sign me up, please! Yet even with all of that potential I feel like this book has some flaws, and that's unfortunate. I do hope that those flashback scenes are addressed in the series' zero issue and that things eventually pick up for the two ladies. They are great characters that a whole lot of us DC fans were missing from the relaunch of their universe, but the series -- as it is -- just isn't doing them the justice the deserve. While I feel a bit sad and guilty about how long I've waited for this moment, I have to admit that mostly I feel an overwhelming sense of relief that I can finally Drop this series. Read Full Review

A Comic Book Blog - Daniel Cole Aug 6, 2012

So, although one part of the book works it highlights the problems with the parts that don't. It is a sorry state of affairs as the flashbacks are excellent. Perhaps now that Hakkou has been dealt with Levitz can focus on something more interesting and hopefully this will give Prez material he can sink his teeth into. Read Full Review

    Razorfine - Alan Rapp Aug 8, 2012

In one of the running jokes of the character having her costume constantly torn (that somehow managed to survive the transition into the New 52) Power Girl, after getting lathered in oil, gets a ripped boob window, momentarily helping out that hideous costume. For fans. Read Full Review

The Comic Book Revue - Jay Mattson Aug 5, 2012

Because Earth 2 has been so strong, I want to believe that World's Finest will get better. Though, it may take some time to recuperate from this big letdown. Read Full Review
